About CuCu CuCu is a skincare ingredient scanner. Scan a product’s barcode or take a photo and instantly see what’s inside, a 0–100 health score, and personalized warnings for your skin profile.
Common questions
How do I sign in?
CuCu is passwordless. Enter your email and CuCu sends an 8-digit code. Type it in to sign in — that’s it. If you’re new, your account is created automatically with the same step. You can also continue without an account to try the app.
A product scored low — is it dangerous?
Not necessarily. Scores are informational and conservative. A lower score means a product contains more ingredients flagged by public sources — it is not a medical judgment. If you have skin-health concerns, please consult a qualified professional. You can read how scores are calculated on the Ingredient Scoring page.
What is CuCu+?
CuCu+ is an optional subscription that unlocks personalized skin-profile analysis, unlimited saved products and folders, and full ingredient search. Free scanning and product scores stay available to everyone.
How do I cancel CuCu+?
Subscriptions are billed and managed by the app stores, so you can manage or cancel CuCu+ anytime through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep CuCu+ benefits until the end of the paid period.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to Profile, then tap Delete account and confirm. If you can’t access the app, email support@cucu-ai.com from your account email address and we’ll process the deletion. Full details are on the Delete Account page.
My scan didn’t find the product — what now?
Some products aren’t in barcode databases yet. When that happens, CuCu offers to identify the product from a photo instead — take a clear photo of the front of the product or its ingredient list and CuCu will read it for you.
